Joe Eppy, a native of Ohio, graduate of The Ohio State University and avid Ohio sports fan, is the founder, president and Chief Visionary Officer of The Eppy Group. To know Joe, is to know his passion! You can tell in an instant that he truly loves what he does; for him it’s a blurred line between work and play. With an academic background in accounting, Joe has been in the financial services industry in the South Florida region since 1993. Since then, Joe has grown The Eppy Group, now known as Levanti Wealth, into one of the premier financial firms in the area. Joe is privileged and honored to have his wife as his business partner and both his sons in the practice, propelling the firm into the next generation. He believes that change is a constant and keeps his eye on the ever-changing economic and product environment.

Joe’s approach to financial planning revolves fundamentally around education; preferring that his clients have the knowledge to make well informed decisions. He believes that growing wealth must be accompanied by a strong defensive plan; a most important and often overlooked facet of planning. He focuses on the most tax efficient use of wealth at retirement, while preserving the legacy. Joe would be considered a reallocation specialist, helping his clients determine the most effective placement of their money. His strongest skill set lies in helping people keep the money they make. Joe knows that trust is essential in making any relationship work and strives to create, maintain and enhance his relationships through his commitment to act ethically and with integrity, inclusion and diversity.

Joe manages many facets of financial planning such as: retirement maximization, tax minimization, estate analysis and strategy, business, individual, special needs planning, and philanthropic fundraising through charitable trusts. Joe does not lose sight of the simple basics; when the very unfortunate occurs and someone’s life is swept away or becomes disabled, the very products he sells are what helps to allow the families to move forward with dignity and security.

Early on in his career, Joe found a place in his heart for helping families who have a child with special needs. Joe’s involvement in special needs triggered Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company to seek his assistance in establishing and implementing their own special needs program. He has addressed numerous organizations regarding financial planning for special needs families and is regarded as an industry expert. This passion has evolved into many philanthropic relationships and new initiatives that Joe is currently spearheading. Joe is thrilled and honored that his son Craig has taken a special interest in the special needs community and is now heading up this department of the firm.
